Do you know huskies are more easily trainable than chihuahuas?

The fur on Siberian husky bodies is so thick, and so they can easily withstand colder temperatures. However, the very thing makes them a little unsuitable for warm temps.

  6. First, I appreciate the information but whoever is writing the script needs to learn how to communicate better. The descriptions are more than a little confusing and contradictory. Please find someone who can write.

  7. Well said, Suzette, regarding the Alaskan Malamute. As the owner of a PURE BRED Malamute, I can assure you she is NOT a mutt. She is AKC registered and the AKC does not register “mutts”. I found this part of the article offensive.

  8. Malamutes do have blue eyes, because mine did. He was a great dog, but did not like other dogs. Which was okay with me and several of my neighbors. We never had any stray dogs on our block after having Nikko for 3 weeks, and lived for over 15 years.

    • Dear Chris, thanks for showing up and clearing us about Malamutes. Healthy discussions always help us to grow together and learn better. Keep giving us your feedback!

  9. I recently adopted my second Gerberian Shepsky. My first one lived to about 17 years & was the best dog I ever had; the breed is eager to please, intelligent and friendly. Great dogs!!

    • Hi Melissa, indeed, a great dog you have now. Gerberian Shepskies are known for being extremely loyal, alert, yet affectionate dogs.
They are great family dogs, very friendly towards children and other animals but can show a little reserved behavior in front of strangers. Nevertheless, you can help the pup for this habit by behavioral training.
We wish you good luck and pray for the long life of your new pet.
