If someone can love you with all their hearts without a single trace of selfishness, they’re your mom and dad!
However, sometimes it gets so late for us to realize this thing…
We understand their sincerity and purity of love once we become parents, but often our parents remain no more with us to listen to how much we love them…
Parents are pure creatures of God who have nothing in their hearts except love.
They work day and night, spend sleepless nights, and do the hardest struggle in giving us everything and making us who we are today.
Giving them preference over some paper notes, a building made of bricks, or for some shares is neither virtuous nor acceptable.
We do so without realizing…. But sometimes repentance becomes so late…
If you still have your parents around, consider this time a God’s blessing.
Tell them they mean to you!
How???
Please follow the ideas mentioned below:
Table of Contents
1. Listen to The Messages of Their Painful Bodies and Try to Rectify Them:
Your parents are now old, and they have done a lot of hard work to give you a comfortable life, you are living today.
The house, a good bank balance, vehicles to ride on, good education, and lots of love, as children, we take all of these things for granted.
As children, parents have given their whole life in giving us all such comforts of life.
Therefore, now their bodies are weak, thin, and tired, and it is time for you to heal them.
Regular visits at the doctor, thorough help in health, and some tools to help relieving pain, this is what you should do.
Give comfort to your parents due to whom you have a comfortable life.
2. Visit Them Once A Week, Hug Them for A While, Appreciate Their Efforts & Gather Memories for Tomorrow:
If you and your parents live separately, due to any reason, appreciate them for their effort of respecting your privacy.
You should pay back with some love, care, and affection.
If you live away, go to your parents’ home at least once a week, spend time with them, and tell them how much they mean to you.
Give them a gift or wear a shirt with parent quotes.
It will make them happy from the heart.
3. Do Not Argue with Them Instead Give Them Respect They Deserve, Invest for Future:
Parents and children usually belong to different generations, and so they mostly have different opinions.
Due to this, parents and children have arguments all the time.
Well, there’s nothing bad in doing a healthy discussion, but it is not acceptable to be rude to your parents.
Whenever you have an argument or discussion with your parents, try to convince them or give them your viewpoint respectfully.
However, if you involuntarily make them angry;
Say sorry to them with a gift of apology.
By doing so, you are also investing in the future as your kids will be respecting you once you are old as said “as you sow so shall you reap.”
4. Connect Their Love to Your Children– Their Love Is Purest and Godly:
Your parents are a blessing, not just for you, but for your kids as well.
Grandparents and grandchildren have a special connection, and you surely will relate if you have been with grandparents for a while.
Grandparents are not just fun to be with but great teachers.
Grandkids learn better and understand better what their parent’s parents say to them.
Therefore, always help your children to make a connection with grannies and grandpas.
Love them enough before they are Gone Forever…
Lastly, we all know death is a harsh reality but don’t know when it will approach and take our loved ones away.
Therefore, until you have your parents, try to make endless memories with them…
You will miss doing this one day.
